Effective August 29, 2026; extended for Composer October 13, 2026; third-party AI section added October 28, 2026 (see it); Manager added October 28, 2026 (see it). Poster, Composer and Manager are made by Terraform Records, LLC ("the house"), Atlanta, Georgia, USA. This page says what they collect, why, and what they will never do — in plain words, because you should not need a lawyer to read a privacy policy. Everything below about Poster applies to Composer too; the section Composer adds what is different.
The short version
Poster exists to take the post you wrote and place it on the platforms you connected, when you press POST. It collects the minimum required to do that. It shows you no ads, sells nothing about you, and tracks you across nobody else's apps or websites.
What Poster collects
- Your account. You sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft. We receive your name and email address from the provider you choose. Poster never sees or stores a password.
- Your connections. When you connect a platform (such as X, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Threads, Bluesky, Pinterest, and others we add), authorization for that platform is held so Poster can post there on your instruction. You can disconnect any platform at any time inside the app.
- Your content. The words and media you compose exist to be posted. They are processed to shape the post for each platform and transmitted to the platforms you chose — only when you confirm.
- Usage counts and bug reports. Daily compose counts (to keep the free service running fairly) and anything you send through Report a Bug.
What Poster does with it
- Operates the service: signs you in, holds your connections, shapes your drafts, and delivers your posts where you tell it to.
- Nothing posts without your confirm. Ever. Drafts are drafts until you press POST.
- Fixes what breaks, using bug reports and usage signals.
Who touches the data (processors)
Poster runs on infrastructure from: Supabase (sign-in and database), Vercel (hosting), Postiz (delivery of posts to your connected platforms), Anthropic (the composition service that shapes draft text — sent server-side, used to produce your draft, not to advertise to you) and, in Composer, fal.ai (pictures, video and voice — see Third-party AI). Each receives only what its job requires. The platforms you connect receive your posts because that is the point.
What Poster will never do
- No advertising, in the app or built on your data.
- No sale or rental of your personal information.
- No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No posting without your press of the button.
Composer
Composer is the content studio: it makes stills, reels and carousels, writes the words for every page you connect, and posts or books them through the same delivery pipe as Poster. Beyond what Poster collects, Composer holds:
- Your media. Photos, clips, voice notes and references you drop in, and the stills, reels and slides Composer makes for you. They are stored so you can come back to them, download them (TAKES → ↓, one, a set, or everything as one zip), and post them. They are yours; the house does not use them to train anything or show them to anyone.
- Your style. The colors, type, voice, name, link, place and handles you set once in YOUR STYLE, so every make carries them.
- Your month. The calendar of posts you plan and book, the words for each, and which takes they ride on.
- Your subscription. Composer is $29 a month. Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe's own pages; the house receives a receipt (your email, the plan, the date) and never sees your card.
Third-party AI: Anthropic and fal.ai
Composer writes and makes things for you with two outside AI services. Nothing is sent to either one until you allow it: the first time Composer would write or make something, it shows you who receives what and asks Allow or Not now. Your answer is saved to your account, and you can withdraw it at any time in ≡ → AI sharing. While it is off, Composer sends them nothing.
- Anthropic (Claude), for writing: your posts, captions, plans of the month and chat replies. It receives the words you give Composer, the names of the pages you post to, your saved style (voice, name, link, place) and any photo or clip you ask it to read.
- fal.ai, for pictures, video and voice: making and editing images and video, and turning voice memos into words. It receives the photos, clips, recordings and descriptions you give Composer for that job.
Each is sent only the input for the job you asked for, server-side, and returns the result to your takes. We use only providers that give your data the same or equal protection as this policy: they process it only to complete your request, do not sell it, and do not use it to advertise to you. Neither receives your password, your payment details or your platform connections.
Posting through the pipe. Everything you post or book goes to the platforms you connected, when you press POSTER or book the month — never otherwise. Booked posts wait in the house's delivery queue until their hour; you can pull any day from the calendar before it goes.
Reporting content. If Composer makes something it should not have, ≡ → Report content sends it to the house; it is reviewed within a day and removed from the service.
Deletion. ≡ → Delete account offers your whole library as one download first, then erases your takes, your words, your month and its bookings, your subscription record and your account, at once, inside the app. Deleting the account ends the subscription too: the house cancels it in Stripe within a day and refunds any renewal that slips through; the receipt record Stripe keeps is Stripe's.
Manager
Manager runs your pages for you: it plans and books the month's posts, makes the pictures and reels for them, drafts answers to the comments and messages your pages receive, and shows how the pages are doing. It signs in through the same Terraform account as Composer and Poster and uses the same page connections. Everything above about Poster and Composer applies to Manager too; this section adds what is different.
What Manager collects
- Your account. Your name, your email address and your account ID, from the sign-in you choose (Apple, Google or email).
- Photos, video and audio. The pictures, clips and recordings you give Manager to post or to turn into reels, and the ones it makes for you.
- Your other content. Your posts and the month's plan, your brand notes and saved voice, the comments and messages your connected pages receive, and the answers you approve.
- Your pages. Manager connects to each platform through that platform's own sign-in and official API. It holds the authorization so it can post, read comments and messages, and send the answers you approve; you can disconnect any page at any time.
- Your subscription. Manager is $59 a month. Payment is taken by Stripe on Stripe's own pages; the house receives a receipt (your email, the plan, the date) and never sees your card.
Third-party AI in Manager
Nothing is sent to either service until you allow it. The first time Manager would write or make something, it shows you who receives what and asks Allow or Not now. Your answer is saved to your account, and you can withdraw it at any time in Manager's Settings. While it is off, Manager sends them nothing.
- Anthropic (Claude), for writing — words only, never pictures, video or audio: the month's posts (it receives your brand profile and saved voice, the month's goal and notes in your words, your hashtags, and each post's date, time, page and subject); draft answers to comments and direct messages (it receives the comment or message being answered, and the name it came from as the platform shows it, with the page it arrived on; nothing goes back to that person until you press send, and keyword auto-replies you set use no AI); learning your voice (your recent drafts beside what you actually sent); answers about your results (your question and your pages' numbers); and the chat (what you type and what is open on screen).
- fal.ai, for pictures and video: it receives a text description of the picture or reel to make and, for a reel, a picture Manager itself made. Your own uploaded photos and videos are never sent to it.
Each is sent only the input for that job, server-side. We use only providers that give your data the same or equal protection as this policy: they process it only to complete your request, do not sell it, and do not use it to advertise to you. Neither receives your password, your payment details or your platform connections.
What Manager will never do
- No sale or rental of your information, and no advertising built on it.
- No answer to a comment or message, and no post, goes out without your approval or a schedule you set.
To delete your Manager account and its data: Settings → Delete account, inside the app, or email hello@terraform.press from your sign-in address.
Retention and deletion
Your account, connections, and settings persist while you use Poster. Disconnecting a platform revokes Poster's path to it. To delete your account and its data inside either app: ≡ → Delete account (Composer offers one download of everything first). Or email hello@terraform.press from your sign-in address; deletion is completed within 30 days and confirmed to you.
Children
Poster is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes are stated in plain words at the top of this page.
